Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: September 29, 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to tours and travel programs offered by Ananyca LLC, doing business as LeapGhana (“LeapGhana,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By booking or participating in a LeapGhana tour or travel program, travelers agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions, applicable policies, and any trip-specific requirements. Travelers may also be required to review and sign a separate Tour Participation Agreement before participating in a tour.
1. Tour Pricing and Inclusions
The price of each LeapGhana tour covers only the accommodations, transportation, tours, activities, specified meals, admissions, and other services expressly identified as included in the applicable tour description.
Room arrangements, including shared or private accommodations, will be based on the package selected for the applicable tour.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, international airfare, passport and visa costs, travel insurance, personal expenses, optional activities, gratuities, meals not identified as included, and other items identified as excluded are not included in the tour price.
2. Deposits and Payments
Unless otherwise stated for a particular tour, a deposit equal to 20% of the tour price is required to reserve a space and is non-refundable, subject to applicable law.
The remaining balance must be paid according to the payment schedule provided for the applicable tour.
Failure to make a required payment by the applicable deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation after reasonable notice.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
Traveler cancellations, refunds, non-refundable amounts, and applicable third-party cancellation costs are governed by LeapGhana’s Cancellation & Refund Policy and any applicable Tour Participation Agreement.
Travelers should review the Cancellation & Refund Policy before making a reservation.
4. Traveler Substitutions
LeapGhana may, at its discretion and subject to supplier restrictions, allow a traveler to transfer a reservation to another eligible traveler before a deadline established by LeapGhana.
Any supplier-imposed name-change, rebooking, administrative, or other resulting costs are the responsibility of the traveler.
A substitution is not effective until LeapGhana confirms it in writing and the replacement traveler completes all required documents and agreements.
5. Unused Services
Once a tour has begun, refunds will not be provided for accommodations, transportation, meals, activities, admission fees, or other included services that a traveler voluntarily does not use because of late arrival, early departure, missed activities, or a decision not to participate, except where otherwise required by law.
6. Changes or Cancellation by LeapGhana
LeapGhana may make reasonable changes to accommodations, transportation, activities, guides, timing, or itineraries when circumstances require, including supplier availability, weather, safety considerations, operational needs, governmental action, or events outside LeapGhana’s reasonable control.
If LeapGhana cancels a tour before departure and does not offer an acceptable replacement departure or comparable arrangement, LeapGhana will communicate the refund or credit options available for amounts it controls.
LeapGhana is not responsible for non-refundable airfare or other independent arrangements purchased by the traveler, except where required by law.
7. Passports, Visas, and Entry Requirements
Travelers are responsible for obtaining and maintaining a valid passport, visa or other entry authorization, and any documents required for travel to and from Ghana.
Travelers are also responsible for confirming current immigration, customs, health-entry, and transit requirements applicable to their citizenship, itinerary, and individual circumstances.
Failure to obtain required documentation does not entitle a traveler to a refund beyond the applicable cancellation terms.
8. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Travelers should consider coverage for trip cancellation or interruption, medical treatment abroad, emergency evacuation, baggage, travel delays, and other appropriate travel risks.
Travel insurance is not included in the tour price unless expressly stated otherwise. Travelers are responsible for understanding the terms, exclusions, limits, and coverage of any insurance policy they purchase.
9. Health, Mobility, and Participation
LeapGhana itineraries may involve walking, stairs, uneven or slippery surfaces, heat and humidity, vehicle travel, and optional physically demanding activities.
Travelers are responsible for determining whether a tour and any optional activity are appropriate for them.
Travelers should inform LeapGhana in advance of accessibility or mobility needs that may require reasonable planning or accommodation. LeapGhana cannot guarantee that every location or activity will be accessible.
10. Traveler Conduct
Travelers must comply with applicable laws, reasonable instructions from LeapGhana representatives and suppliers, and rules established for accommodations, transportation, attractions, and group activities.
LeapGhana may remove a traveler from an activity or the remainder of a tour when the traveler’s conduct creates a material safety risk, seriously disrupts the group, or violates applicable law.
Additional costs resulting from such removal are the traveler’s responsibility, subject to applicable law.
11. Independent Suppliers
LeapGhana may arrange services provided by independent hotels, transportation companies, guides, attractions, restaurants, and other suppliers. Those suppliers are responsible for their own operations and services.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to waive any right or remedy that cannot legally be waived.
12. Assumption of Travel Risks
International travel involves inherent risks, including transportation delays, changing weather, illness or injury, unfamiliar environments, acts or omissions of third parties, and changes in local conditions.
By participating in a LeapGhana tour, travelers acknowledge these ordinary travel risks and agree to exercise reasonable care and follow applicable safety instructions.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions releases LeapGhana from liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
13. Emergency Assistance
If an emergency occurs during a trip and a traveler cannot communicate or make decisions, LeapGhana may take reasonable steps to try to protect the traveler’s health, safety, and welfare based on the information available.
These steps may include obtaining medical evaluation or treatment, arranging transportation or evacuation, securing lodging, assisting with communication with emergency contacts, and coordinating with local authorities, medical providers, or insurers.
LeapGhana is not responsible for the availability, quality, or outcome of medical care, evacuation, transportation, or other emergency services.
The traveler remains responsible for costs arising from emergency assistance except to the extent included in the tour price or covered by insurance.
Travelers acknowledge that local emergency resources may be limited or unavailable and agree to cooperate with LeapGhana and third-party providers during and after an emergency, including providing insurance information and reimbursing costs advanced on the traveler’s behalf.
14. Photos, Video, and Marketing
Booking or participating in a LeapGhana tour does not automatically grant LeapGhana a general marketing release for a traveler’s image or likeness.
If LeapGhana wishes to use an identifiable traveler’s photograph, video, testimonial, or likeness for promotional purposes, LeapGhana may request separate permission or provide an optional media-release choice.
15. Personal Information
LeapGhana may collect and use information reasonably necessary to administer reservations and operate its tours, including sharing necessary information with service providers involved in a traveler’s arrangements.
Travelers should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information through general inquiry or reservation fields.
Additional information about how LeapGhana collects, uses, and protects personal information is available in our Privacy Policy.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms & Conditions are intended to be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another law must apply.
Before filing a legal claim, the parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally.
Any lawsuit related to these Terms & Conditions or an applicable Tour Participation Agreement must be brought in Massachusetts in Middlesex County.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, each party waives the right to trial by jury in any action, proceeding, or counterclaim arising out of or relating to the applicable agreement or transactions contemplated by it.
17. State-Law Restrictions on Online Purchases
If a traveler resides in a state that prohibits or restricts the online purchase of travel services or tour packages, the reservation will be canceled and LeapGhana will refund all funds paid in full.
LeapGhana will have no further obligation or liability arising from that cancellation.
18. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
LeapGhana will not be considered in default for delays or inability to perform caused by events outside its reasonable control, including acts of God, acts of nature, natural disasters, epidemics, quarantines, public health emergencies, product or transportation shortages, strikes, lockouts, industrial disturbances, acts of public enemies, insurrections, military action, war, sabotage, riots, civil disturbances, explosions, governmental actions, or similar circumstances.
LeapGhana will provide reasonable notice of a material occurrence and expected delay when circumstances permit. Any suspension of performance will be limited in scope and duration as reasonably required by the circumstances.
If such an event continues for more than 30 days, LeapGhana may terminate the applicable agreement.
19. Consequential Damages
Neither party will be liable to the other for indirect, special, consequential, incidental, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or related to the applicable agreement, regardless of whether such damages are based on contract, tort, statute, or another legal or equitable theory, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
20. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, travelers agree to indemnify LeapGhana, including its owners, managers, employees, and agents, against claims, damages, losses, liabilities, injuries, deaths, accidents, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs, arising out of or relating to the traveler’s participation in a program or the traveler’s acts or omissions.
Any additional indemnification obligations applicable to a traveler will be governed by the Tour Participation Agreement signed for the applicable trip.
21. Trip-Specific Terms and Tour Participation Agreement
Specific tours may have additional terms concerning departure dates, pricing, accommodations, packages, activities, payment schedules, and other trip-specific arrangements.
Travelers may be required to sign a Tour Participation Agreement before participating in a LeapGhana tour.
The applicable Tour Participation Agreement, confirmed trip information, payment plan, tour page, and any trip-specific terms expressly incorporated into the traveler’s reservation constitute the agreement concerning the booked tour.
If trip-specific information conflicts with these general Terms & Conditions regarding dates, price, package, or payment schedule, the confirmed trip-specific information controls for those items.
22. Changes to These Terms & Conditions
LeapGhana may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in its tour offerings, operations, policies, or applicable requirements.
When these Terms & Conditions are updated, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will be revised.
