In 2024, I boarded a plane to Ghana to meet my boyfriend in person for the very first time. I expected to fall in love with one person. Instead, I fell in love with an entire country.
The Welcome I Didn’t Expect
From the moment I arrived, I experienced something I hadn’t expected. Complete strangers welcomed me with kindness. Families invited me into their lives. Children waved as I walked by.
Markets were alive with laughter, music, and conversation. Every day I discovered another reason to love Ghana — not only for its history and breathtaking beauty, but for the warmth of its people. That journey changed my life.
Built Together
Today, my partner and I have built Leap Ghana together. He brings lifelong local knowledge and trusted relationships throughout Ghana.
I bring the perspective of someone who once stepped off the plane with questions, excitement, and uncertainty. Together, we’ve created the company we wish had existed when I first visited.
For us, this isn’t simply a business. It’s the opportunity to introduce others to a country that changed our lives forever.
