Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last Updated: September 29, 2026
This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to tours and travel programs offered by Ananyca LLC, doing business as LeapGhana (“LeapGhana,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By making a reservation, travelers acknowledge and agree to this Cancellation & Refund Policy, together with any cancellation or payment terms provided for the applicable tour and any Tour Participation Agreement required for that program.
1. Deposits
Unless otherwise stated for a particular tour, a deposit equal to 20% of the tour price is required to reserve a space.
Deposits are non-refundable, subject to applicable law.
The amount of the deposit and applicable payment schedule will be provided before or at the time of booking.
2. Traveler Cancellations
All cancellation requests must be submitted to LeapGhana in writing.
Refund eligibility, if any, will be determined based on the date LeapGhana receives the written cancellation and the cancellation terms applicable to the traveler’s specific tour.
The initial deposit is non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Additional payments may become non-refundable as the departure date approaches because LeapGhana may make advance payments or commitments for accommodations, transportation, activities, guides, admissions, and other travel services.
3. Refunds
Any refund for which a traveler is eligible will be calculated according to the cancellation terms applicable to the specific tour.
Amounts already paid to third-party suppliers that are non-refundable or otherwise unrecoverable may not be refundable to the traveler.
Any approved refund will be returned using a reasonable payment method determined by LeapGhana or the applicable payment provider.
4. Failure to Make Required Payments
Travelers are responsible for making payments according to the payment schedule provided for their tour.
Failure to make a required payment by the applicable deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation after reasonable notice.
Any amounts previously paid will remain subject to this Cancellation & Refund Policy and the terms applicable to the specific tour.
5. Traveler Substitutions
LeapGhana may, at its discretion and subject to supplier restrictions, allow a traveler to transfer a reservation to another eligible traveler before departure.
The original traveler is responsible for any airline, supplier, booking, administrative, or other costs resulting from the substitution.
A substitution is not effective until LeapGhana confirms it in writing and the replacement traveler completes all required documents and payments.
6. Changes or Cancellation by LeapGhana
LeapGhana may make reasonable changes to an itinerary, accommodations, transportation, activities, guides, or other arrangements when circumstances require.
If LeapGhana cancels a tour, LeapGhana will communicate the options available to affected travelers. These may include rescheduling, applying amounts paid toward another LeapGhana program, or providing a refund of amounts recoverable by LeapGhana, depending on the circumstances and applicable tour terms.
LeapGhana is not responsible for expenses that are not included in the tour price, including airfare purchased independently by the traveler, visa or passport expenses, travel insurance premiums, or other personal travel arrangements.
7. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
LeapGhana will not be considered in default for delays or inability to perform caused by events outside its reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, epidemics, public health emergencies, transportation disruptions or shortages, strikes, civil disturbances, war, governmental actions, or similar circumstances.
When reasonably possible, LeapGhana will communicate material changes affecting scheduled travel programs and will take reasonable steps consistent with the circumstances.
Refunds, credits, rescheduling, or other remedies available under these circumstances may depend upon amounts recoverable from hotels, transportation providers, activity operators, and other third-party suppliers.
8. Travel Insurance
LeapGhana strongly recommends that travelers obtain appropriate travel insurance.
Travel insurance may provide protection for circumstances that are not refundable by LeapGhana, including certain trip cancellations or interruptions, medical emergencies, travel delays, lost baggage, and other covered events.
Travelers are responsible for reviewing the terms, exclusions, and coverage of any insurance policy they purchase.
9. Third-Party Suppliers
Hotels, transportation providers, airlines, activity operators, guides, and other travel suppliers may maintain their own cancellation and refund policies.
Where LeapGhana has made payments or financial commitments to a third-party supplier on behalf of a traveler, the amount that can be refunded may be affected by the supplier’s cancellation terms and the amount LeapGhana is able to recover.
10. Tour-Specific Terms
Individual tours may have payment, cancellation, or refund requirements that differ from the general provisions of this policy because of supplier requirements, group arrangements, special events, accommodations, or other circumstances.
Any such terms will be disclosed in the applicable tour information or Tour Participation Agreement. Where specific written cancellation or refund terms are provided for a particular tour, those specific terms control for that tour.
